The Annapurna chalet transpired from the skilful renovation of an old building in a prime position on the Hohnegg plateau. It was expertly designed by the architect Iwan Kiechler from the company Abgottspon Edwin Architekt, and combines the best of old and new and the latest, most efficient technologies in a welcoming and authentic Swiss chalet.

Annapurna is undoubtedly one of the most extraordinarily beautiful chalets in Saas-Fee, and has established a new benchmark for quality finishes and the design of luxury resorts.

The entire construction is made of reclaimed wood and is covered inside and out with murogeopietra in an extraordinary mix of stone and mortar, creating a unique rustic atmosphere.

The chalet covers 450 m2 over five splendid floors. The interior offers every possible comfort, such as luxurious en-suite rooms, lounges with cosy fires, and high-tech kitchen equipment with a personal chef who cooks for clients. There is an indoor/outdoor swimming pool, private spa with Turkish bath, hammam and saunas. Large windows make the premises extremely bright so guests can enjoy stunning views over the valley. The village of Saas Fee, also known as the Pearl of the Alps, is one of the most ancient Walser colonies of Vallaise. Founded in 1200, in a valley surrounded by a long mountain chain rising more than 4000 metres (13,000 ft), it still has most of its original appearance, which is why it is one of the most exclusive destinations in the Alps.
