Vesima, situated by the sea and set in a unique context, is a "terrace" house in one of the most beautiful and picturesque locations on the Ligurian Riviera. The topography of the territory has helped to protect it from urban expansion and, even today, it preserves the character of a fishing village, also appreciated by the architect Renzo Piano, who has set up his headquarters at Punta Nave.
The project, by architect Andrea Ricci, conceals the villa by setting it on the highest terrace in the tilled land, and includes the installation of murogeopietra on the external thermal insulation. The reclamation of the garden terraces, which flank the lift and descend to the sea, has involved a demanding process of observation of the existing situation, and a careful and skilful installation of murogeopietra in a custom blend of models and shades, producing an extraordinary result.
